Christmas time is almost here and I’m already excited to see what’s under the tree! Since I joined the blogging world back in September it seems like everyday I have something new to add to my infinitely long wishlist so I thought I would take you on a little window shopping spree with me!
My Christmas List

- Genesis Framework– Not too long after I started blogging I kept hearing about this framework and how it does all of these cool things. Genesis is a parent theme by Studiopress and promises to “take your WordPress to places you never thought it could go”. Genesis runs about $59.95 but you can add in child theme (think the styling of your blog) for about $99.95. Keeping readers on your site is so important to things like your Google Analytics so this is #1 on my list for 2020.
- Meet Edgar– I tried Meet Edgar a few months ago and really loved it but the price point is too much for me right now to justify the expense. Meet Edgar is a social media scheduler but where it sets itself apart from apps like Buffer and HootSuite is that it is a never-ending queue so as long as you fill it up, you don’t have to worry about spending hours scheduling your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- Haute Chocolate Photos– I found this site off of Pinterest and aren’t they awesome pictures? I have written before on the importance of awesome graphics here and what I love about these pictures is that they are modern and feminine which match my brand perfectly.
- Never Eat Alone – I love reading and my business coach, Amy Schmittauer talks about this book all the time. The book focuses on networking which is the backbone of any blogging business.
- My Own Hashtag Sign– The Great Sue B makes these and they are your own personalized hashtag sign that you can use a backdrop in your own videos. Nothing cooler than that right?
- Video Tripod System, Cayer BV30L 72 inch– Video is a priority for me next year and I just got my first DSLR camera for Christmas- so a tripod is next on the list.
- Audio-Technica AT875R – With my video goal I also need a good mic to go on my camera. I have heard this one is excellent.
- Olloclip– Upping my photo game is also on my 2020 list and I have heard this is excellent for on the go pics.
- Audio-Technica ATR2100X-USB USB/XLR Microphone – this is the mic I have my eye on for things like podcasting. It sounds awesome!
- A Professional Blog Design- this is kind of my dream blogger present because I’m still in the early stages of blogging but would love to have a brand that is uniquely me
I also would like to give a big shout out to Allison of Wonderlass- the picture above is part of a free styled stock photo giveaway she has on her blog right now- so go grab you some. You can do that here
So that’s my big Christmas list- what’s on your list? What are you eyeing for your blog in 2020? I hope you all have a merry Christmas and I’m looking forward to planning out 2020 with you all next week!
